Why?

I have found that many of my clients ordering genealogical research services (as well as genealogy buffs in general) often do not feel satisfied by merely having distinct pieces of information on their forebears. AI helps bring together numerous sources to fill in the gaps, provide context around individual data points, and produce a fact-based narrative tailored to your interests and your family history.

Sources

In order to flesh out a family history, I combine:

​

• genealogical data (provided by you and / or unearthed by me)

• academic works, memoirs, Yizkor books, and the like

• Yiddish-language family letters, postcards, photos, etc. (also a few other languages, see Services)

• ​AI platforms

• my own writing skills and expertise in Jewish genealogy and history

How?

• with your consent, I feed data available on your family (genealogical information, letters, etc.) into AI​

• I use AI and my research skills to identify relevant online sources

• for instance, if your GGF was a butcher in Kovno (Kaunas, Lithuania), I would look for local histories of the city, works on Jewish butchers, on Jewish life in Lithuania in the period at hand, etc.

• upon request, I can identify paywalled academic works relevant to your family history, purchase them, and have AI rely on these as well when writing up the narrative 

• I formulate prompts for AI to combine all the sources into vibrant chapters on your ancestors, based on hard facts specific to them, as well as context gleaned from the sources

• I proof-read and edit the text, cross-check references, and make sure that the sources relied upon are authoritative
